1st Day of 2010
On the first day of the new year, i woke up to find frost on the windows. Love how the frost looked like curved leaves or feathered-snow creatures fluttering on the windows. 
It had been a really cold night so seeing frost on the window didn't really come as a surprise. Though i should have known better to get bored and drag Hubbie out of the house to go to WEM just to get out of the house. Didn't feel like staying home on the first day of the new year. Why? I don't really know why just didn't feel like staying home. Once we headed out, i knew i made a mistake. But we were dressed, we were out so off we went anyways. Ended up watching Chipmunks - The Squeakquel and Invictus at WEM. Chipmunks was a cute kids movie with all the makings of a great cartoon. I had fun but Hubbie had to groan at the fact that Beyonce's Single Ladies was covered in the movie. He said all he could see was Chris Colfer as Kurt Hummel on Glee doing the dance to this song on the field every time he hears this song. He just doesn't like it when a song is over used i guess. 
Invictus on the other hand was a nice heart-warming story about underdogs who came from no where to be victorious in sporting event - the 1995 Rugby World Cup. I've always love Morgan Freeman's movies and Hubbie had seen the trailers before (plus he was interested in watching the movie) so Invictus fell into the list of movies we both wanna watch.
