  • Let it Snow Let it Snow Let is Snow

I don't know about it but i'm already playing Christmas tunes in my head. If you're in Edmonton and you look out your window now, you would understand why i say this. To me, snow has always been associated with Winter and Christmas. So to see the following scene when i walked out of the condo, i couldn't help but start getting into the xmas-ie mood.

Snowing on Thanksgiving 001-1   Snowing on Thanksgiving 002-1

    Snowing on Thanksgiving 003-1

Was heading out to V and A's place, before we headed off to V's parent's place for Thanksgiving dinner. Had to take the LRT to V & A's, so i braved the flurries and walked a few blocks to the nearest LRT station. On the way there, there was a couple who had just gotten into their car when the lady opened the car door, stuck her head out, then stuck her tongue out to taste the falling snow. The moment i saw her doing that, this tune came to mind :

"If all the snowflakes were bubblegum and milkshakes,
Oh what a snow that would be.
Standing outside with my mouth open wide,
Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah, ah ah ah."

Oh yes, good old Barney. :)

So yeah, the weather yesterday amused me and then to see the lady sticking her tongue out to taste the snow the weather amused me even more. That was yesterday. Today, the weather doesn't amuse me as much. Not too sure why but i am pretty sure it has to do with my mood swings.

    Thanksgiving Self Portrait
Light up your face with gladness
    Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
    If you just...
    smile
